Have you found this little treasure yet? No, I don’t mean our rocky road cookies or our soft, fluffy dinner rolls, although - now you know! We’re talking about Gati goodness here. If you know Thai Fresh and their amazing, fresh and local ingredients, authentic, thai cuisine plus their fabulous desserts and coffee bar then you have probably tasted their vegan ice cream goodness already. But did you know they opened the cutest little ice cream shop on the lower east side of Austin? It is not to be missed. This stylish, cozy find is our favorite spot in town for GF and vegan desserts (‘cept for our tent on Sunday markets at Mueller of course). We are seriously big fans of Gati. To prove it we are showing off some of our favorite summer treats here.

Try a GFY Rocky Road Cookie Sammie with Gati’s Pandan Leaf coconut milk ice cream. Personally, I’d just smash that strawberry into the ice cream sammie myself. The green, creamy, indescribable and subtle flavor of pandan leaf goes surprisingly well with chocolate and marshmallow. You’d never think of it but It’s just obvious once you try it.

We also love the Texas Strawberry. And the Thai Iced Tea. And the Cookie Monster (GF!)….and all the rest. Seriously stop by their shop. We’ll probably see you there :-)
